American Solar Direct, an Anaheim California based solar installation company, has filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in California Central Court. According to the bankruptcy filings, in 2017, American Solar Direct's assets were liquidated after its liabilities mushroomed to 200 times its assets. At the time of their bankruptcy filings, American Solar Direct had less than $50,000 and debts between $10 million and $50 million. At their peak, American Solar Direct was a full-service provider of residential solar power systems that included a solar process that encompassed a personalized sales consultation, custom design, installation, and customer service.
